Andrea van Reimersdahl’s “Rote Hirsche” is inspired by the history and resources of the site – the restaurant “Zum Roten Hirschen”,
the “Jägerallee” and the Liebenberg “Hirsch Tor” all refer to the abundance of game in the Liebenberg forests.

The installation transports the pictorial motif of the deer from history to the present day. The sculpture is free standing in
the outdoor space and becomes an aesthetic spatial and physical experience for the viewer. Light and shadow bring playful liveliness,
the upper, red-painted wood, protrude the like antlers into the air.
